“Carolyna” was the second single to be taken from This Time, the fourth solo album of British singer Melanie C in both UK and European territories. Released on 18 June 2007 in the UK and around this period elsewhere, the single was accompanied with a fantastic video which was seen by fans as one of her best videos to date. However, although Melanie worked hard on promotion for the single, it didn’t have the impact that was hoped and sales stalled, also failing to help the sales of “This Time”. “Carolyna” reached #49 in the UK where it sold just 6,391 copies, and sadly fared little better in Europe.
