Dance Away is a song by the British rock band Roxy Music. Released in April 1979, it was the second single to be taken from their album Manifesto. “Dance Away” was written for Ferry’s solo album “In Your Mind”, then planned to be included on “The Bride Stripped Bare”, but finally completed and released on Roxy Music’s Manifesto. The single version was a different shorter edit and mix compared to the original album version. Just like it happened with their next single “Angel Eyes” the single version of “Dance Away” later replaced the album version for subsequent releases, and was included on the “The Thrill of It All” boxset.
