Roberto Carlos Braga (born April 19, 1941 in Cachoeiro de Itapemirim city) is a Grammy Award-winning Brazilian singer and composer, who has achieved a great deal of success and recognition in his 50-year career, also known as King of Latin Music or simply The King. Most of his songs are written in partnership with his friend, also singer and songwriter Erasmo Carlos. Roberto Carlos has sold over 120 million albums around the world.
