“Oh Very Young” is a song by Cat Stevens. It was released on his 1974 album Buddha and the Chocolate Box. The song, which poses a question that would be asked by future generations possessed of an older person’s wistful appreciation of the idealism of youth together with a subtle hint of mature guidance, reached number 10 in the U.S. charts. Suzanne Lynch worked as a session musician until she became a regular part of Cat Stevens’ vocal group and appeared on several of his albums.
