Beautiful song. Ok poetry - but still just an artistic expression - not a full blown philosophy #imagine

This is one of the most trite songs ever written. Contrary to the previous contributor, it has become less meaningful as time has passed. Now, it's a joke. Imagine no possessions? Really.

This is actually a communist song, He said that himself and he said that it was weird that american's loved it but they hated communism.

when I was younger I liked this song but didn't really appreciate it.Now that I am older This song has very deep meaning for humanity right now and all the atrocities that have been done to humans in the name of Country and Religion. This is one world , one human race and we should realize that we are all connected in some way.
