Chris Cornell has always been so mysterious when it came to the 'meaning' behind his lyrics; this song (hauntingly gorgeous) is especially interesting, because it can't help but remind me of the reference to "killing a bird" in one of my faves of Chris's, "Like Suicide"....a connection, a 'progression'...hmmmmm ; )
