Guru Josh was the first star of live performances of the early 1990s British acid house music scene, on the back of the 1989 single, “Infinity (1990s... Time For The Guru)“ (UK # 5, Germany #2, Australia #4). A track which, in radio edit form, has gone on to feature on a large number of compilations of ‘old skool’ house music. It has recently become one of the most remixed dance tracks. In the first few months of 2008 it has been remixed 21 times by such as Tiesto, Mark Norman, Klaas, Jerome Phaser and others.
Guru Josh was the first dance star to perform stadium shows.
