The compilation album The Best of James Taylor is singer-songwriter James Taylor’s twentieth album, released in 2003. The record is a Warner Bros. release, and as such emphasizes Taylor’s recordings for that label; fifteen of the twenty tracks on the album are from his time with Warner Bros. In addition, the version of “Something In The Way She Moves” is the Apple Records version from 1969, whereas “Carolina In My Mind” is the 1976 remake. “Steamroller” is the live version from 1975, and “Country Road” is the alternate single version.
