The lyrics of “Peaches” discuss a man moving to the country to eat vast quantities of peaches. The song was released worldwide as the third single from The Presidents of the United States of America. It peaked at #29 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart and #8 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Modern Rock Tracks chart. The band members have acknowledged that “Peaches” borrows riffs from Bad Company’s 1975 song “Feel Like Makin’ Love”.
