“Déjà Vu” is a song recorded by American R&B singer Beyoncé Knowles, featuring additional vocals from American rapper Jay-Z. It was produced by Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins and Jon Jon Traxx for her second solo album, B’Day (2006). “Déjà Vu” was initially leaked to the internet on June 13, 2006. The song was later released as the lead single from the album on July 31, 2006 in the United States through Columbia Records. “Déjà Vu” derives genres from R&B, incorporates the 1970s funk as well as soul music and is composed in a moderate hip hop groove.
