Ripples... is a song from Genesis’ 1976 album A Trick of the Tail. At just over eight minutes, the song is the longest on the album. Musically, it is a slow piece with prominent 12-string guitar and piano. The middle section of the piece features a long, melodic instrumental with a synthesizer playing counter melody to an electric guitar solo reminiscent of the style in “Firth of Fifth.“ It was released as the B-side to the single “A Trick of the Tail,“ and a promotional video was released.
