“Flower” is a song by the American rock band Soundgarden. Featuring lyrics written by frontman Chris Cornell and music written by guitarist Kim Thayil, “Flower” was released in May 1989 as the only single from the band’s debut album, Ultramega OK (1988). The song was included on Soundgarden’s 1997 greatest hits album, A-Sides. An alternate BBC version of “Flower” recorded on 14 May 1989 appeared on the Deluxe Edition of the band’s 2010 compilation album Telephantasm. Read on...

Yikes - I had to add "Flower" to the list?! One of Soundgarden's best songs ever, it came off of their first LP, 'UltraMega OK'; I have the CD, but I also have a 10" vinyl they released of it. "Flower" is probably the song that initially got me hooked on Soundgarden & Chris Cornell...& even though SG no longer exists, their music lives on, & as far as Chris Cornell, he's more powerful musically & vocally today than ever...wow - a 20-year fan and going strong!!!!!!
