The song also appears as the sixth track on their Greatest Hits (2005). The song peaked at #1 on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks, becoming their only #1 song on this chart, while reaching #4 on the Hot Modern Rock Tracks chart. Through 2009, The Offspring have played “Gone Away” with Dexter Holland performing on piano while live throughout Europe and in the United States.
