“Blister in the Sun” is a song by the American alternative rock band Violent Femmes originally released on their 1983 self-titled debut album. In 1998, Indigo Girls recorded a live cover of the song. It has also been covered by Nouvelle Vague on their 2009 album 3. A music video was created in 1997 to coincide with the film Grosse Pointe Blank.
